If you want FarmOps to register your calves and manage your animal movements on-farm, you must first activate FarmOps on the Departments Animal Identification & Movement (AIM) System.
Once you have activated FarmOps, we activate AIMS on your FarmOps app. This can take up to 24 hours. We'll contact you once we have activated AIMS for you.
Once activated, you'll then need to set an AIMS PIN to start using FarmOps to register your calves and move your animals.
Linking up with AIMS is necessary to complete Calf Registrations and Animal Movements using FarmOps.
Shown below are the steps necessary to enable Calf Registration and Animal Movements.
Step 1: Log in to your agfood.ie account using your username, PAC (Personal Access Code) and password.
Step 2: Once logged in select ‘AIM Animal Identification and Movements’.
Step 3: Then select ‘Interact with AIM using Farm Software Provider’.
Step 4: Select ‘Add Software Provider’ and pick ‘Munster AI Farm Services’.
* If you have a different provider previously selected, click the circle on the left of the page, and click ‘End Date Software Provider’.
Step 5: Confirm with your Email address.
We will then contact you via text to set your AIMS Pin in FarmOps.
Once you have set FarmOps as your software provider on AIMS a member of the FarmOps team will contact you to help you set an AIMs PIN. This PIN must be entered in the app to register a calf or carry out an animal movement. The PIN must only be entered once every 24 hours.
To set your AIMS PIN:
From the Task List, select Options
Select Calving & Calf Registration or AIMS & Animal Movements. The option for setting the AIMS PIN is listed on both sections
Click Set AIMS PIN
Enter a 6-digit PIN and tap Submit
A popup will display the AIMS PIN and confirm the AIMS PIN has been set
Take note of the PIN you have chosen as this is required for any additional movements.
Here you can view your most recent movement certs and historic movements.
The Movement Cert shows:
Movement Cert Number
Animal full tag number or group of tag number if more than one selects
The dates that the movement cert is valid through
If you have forgotten you AIMS PIN, don't worry we can reclaim it for you.
